DReinkin12 Nice, tight rock EP from a band who sounds like they know who they are and what they wanna say. Listen loudly with the windows open. Favorite track: Kiss Run.

Kiss Run 03:34
I couldn't think of a better time To smash my head into the wall I couldn't think of a better word To describe this scene to you all I kinda wanted to walk away But my conscious got the best of me I couldn't think of a better dream Than this waking reverie In the last place I thought I'd see you In a backyard backslide For the benefit of everyone (please leave) In the city that remained I couldn't think of a better time To smash my head into a wall I couldn't think of a better word To describe this scene to you all I kinda wanted to walk away Separate myself from you I couldn't think of a better dream But in truth I want to have it all In the last place I thought I'd see you In a backyard backslide For the benefit of everyone (please leave) In the city that remained Kiss Kiss Run Run I couldn't think of a better time To smash my head into the wall I couldn't think of a better word To describe this scene to you all I kinda wanted to walk away But my conscious got the best of me I couldn't think of a better dream But in truth I want to have it all In the last place I thought I'd see you In a backyard backslide For the benefit of everyone (please leave) In the city that remained Kiss Kiss Run Run

This Place 02:53
I miss this place Figured out from a friend of mine I used to see all the time The look was on his face He said he couldn't stay too long Had to keep moving on I wish I knew how To fix your problems for you I wish I knew why Them dreams never come true But if you just know You're never alone when its me and you I miss this place Figured out from a friend of mine I used to see all the time The look was on her face She said she couldn't stay too long Had to keep moving on I wish I knew how To fix your problems for you I wish I knew why Them dreams never come true But if you just know You're never alone when its me and you

Finger 02:38
You found god at the top of a building Now you jump to get the feeling again The cool breeze and your body in motion Is enough to feel utter regret All signs lead to nowhere There is no distinctive plan I point my finger back at you You judgemental so called friend You found fear in the drawer of the nightstand Of your compensated high rise hotel A phone call and that old sinking feeling You forget that you were going to hell All signs lead to nowhere There is no distinctive plan I point my finger back at you You judgemental so called friend All signs lead to nowhere There's no sin, no rules, no man I cut my finger off and bleed It's ok, I'm alright It's ok, I'm alright You're not good and you're not evil either You're a talking monkey spinnin in space Let go and imbibe in the nothing And baby then you'll get a feeling of ease All signs lead to nowhere There's no sin, no rules, no man I cut my finger off and bleed It's ok, I'm alright You ok? I'm alright Yea you're ok, it's alright

You'll see me leave but I won't get far It's hard to leave a scene with no getaway car You'll be fantasic in your dress and your shoes While “I'm all sewn up with my bad tattoos” There's no tricks up my sleeve cause its filled with scars Its you and me growin farther apart And you keep laughin a sound I can't refute Yea we're all fucked up but its you that I choose I'm tellin you you're gonna break my heart Cause our misery seems to happen a lot But there's still hope here a bomb we can diffuse I know there's hope here The bigger they are the harder they fall Guess you and me we're fifty feet tall The hole in my head match the one in the wall You're fast asleep I cannot breathe You're fast asleep You'll see me leave but I won't get far It's hard to leave a scene with no getaway car You'll be fantasic in your dress and your shoes And you keep laughin Laughin The bigger they are the harder they fall Guess you and me we're fifty feet tall The hole in my head match the one in the wall You're fast asleep I cannot breathe You're fast asleep

Imagine sitting at a bar with no bartender In an empty room The saddest Blue Lagoon All your friends laugh You can hear the jokes crash Stumble thru another and another Please remember that it's nothing you did Sometimes I just need a minute I sit and stare at the signs on the wall Sometimes it's overwhelming when I'm in it Imagine arguing with nobody at all In an empty room The saddest Blue Lagoon A total mismatch Total fucking mish mash And the Jim Beam sign sits sideways Not like it needs to be fixed Just tilted Just out of place enough All of your flaws make you perfect Imagine walking back into the party An overfilled room The saddest Blue Lagoon All your friends laugh Etching out your epitaph Faking it is just getting harder Please remember that it's nothing you did Sometimes I just need a minute I sit and stare at the signs on the wall Sometimes it's overwhelming when I'm in it

I wish that I had one more year Cause when your childhood is gone It's time to wipe away those tears I wish that I had just one more year Cause I don't wanna be an adult yet Just wanna play on my swing set Without the worries that my parents get Just one more year I wish that I had just one more year I wish that I had just one more year Cause when your childhood is gone It's time to wipe away your tears I wish that I had just one more year Cause I don't wanna be an adult yet Just wanna play on my swing set Without the worries that my parents get Cause I don't wanna be an adult yet Just wanna play on my swing set Without the worries that my parents get Just one more year I wish that I had just one more year

about

We named this album for our friend and merch/roadie Chad Guay. Joe and Brian grew up with Chad and Chad's brother Kenny in MA. They moved all around the country together. When Chad moved to San Diego last year, we decided to name the record after him because we love him. The front cover is a picture of Joe and Chad as little kids. Its harder to hang out with your best buddies when they don't live in the same town anymore!

A huge thank you to Olav Tabatabai for putting up with us and recording us at Universal Audio, the Container and our practice space when the power went out and we had to move the studio in one hour to get the keys done. Thank you to Dan Potthast for helping produce the vocals, the keys, recording the organ at his own apartment and for the good studio vibes.. thanks for picking Chris up at the bus stop the morning the power went out. Thank you to AJ Marquez for letting us use his Leslie for the organ tracks. Thank you to Bryan McPherson for hanging out and shooting/editing/producing the video for Kiss/Run and for laying down acoustic guitar on One More Year. Thank you to Dan Randall for mastering the album.

Last but certainly not least, thank you to our family, friends and especially Chad. We love you!
